Raining Worms

Ok, so this is really funny.

Yesterday, Kim was telling her family about how when she was little, she thought that when it rained, it also rained worms. She thought: “Every time it rains, there are all these worms all over the place, I wonder where they come from?….They must come with the rain.” Then when she learned about evaporation, she just thought that the worms evaporated up into the sky too! The funniest part of the story was that she told her parents that I was the one who told her this wasn’t true. She didn’t figure out that it doesn’t rain worms until she was like 20! She says she remembers thinking when she was a freshman at utah state about this.

Now, I don’t think that I actually was the one who told her it wasn’t so…but it’s still pretty funny.
