hmmm, I don’t believe it…but it’s probably worth a try.

They claim that many search engines are using alexa’s rating in determining your pages rating. Frankly, I don’t believe it, but you never know. Plus, it’s easy enough to do this that it’s worth a try.

I will tell you this, when Alexa’s indexer visited my site 8500 times in one day, I saw a huge increase in search engine traffic over the next few days from other bots.
