Google indexing

Everyone I’ve ever talked to about google’s indexing says that google visits their homepage every couple of days during the month and then of course also does the big index once a month. This has also been my experience with my other stes. All except for www.buy-discount-cheap-online.com. For some reason, google doesn’t visit me every few days. They visit me every day! And it’s not just every day, it’s about 40 times / day. Weird. I wish I had a better stats analysis program because I don’t know what pages google is indexing. All the reporting I get is that they’re hitting me about 40 times/day. I really want to know if they’re hitting my homepage all those times, or if they’re indexing new pages each time. I guess I can look at the apache logs and figure it out.
