PDA Sales Increase Sharply

This article from yahoo talks about how this past quarter PDA Sales Have Increased Sharply.
The real interesting thing about it is that RIM accounted for 21 percent of worldwide PDA shipments during the first quarter while second-place PalmOne accounted for 18 percent. Palm is being outdone because they haven’t kept up with what users need…the ability to stay connected from anywhere.

I don’t use a blackberry, but I know quite a few people who do and they rave about the ease of use with it. Palm has continued to focus on the organization and multimedia aspects of their devices while the things users need is to be able to browse the internet and retrieve email from anywhere. It’s about information, not about videos and music.
