Implementing a new sales process (video marketing)
If you know me at all, you know I’m all about implementation.
I think it’s a huge mistake to spend time learning things that pertain to your business but not implementing them.
So, today I’m going to implement one of them for you.
If you haven’t seen what the guys at TrafficGeyser.com are doing, you need to check it out:
http://www.siteproweb.com/lead/10-10-4 (I think that’s Andrew Lock’s affiliate link…lol)
There are 2 things to learn from this:
- the process they’re teaching as it pertains to your business (using videos to get leads and convert them into buyers)
- the process they’re using to get leads and turn them into buyers
The process they’re using is almost exactly the same as the one they’re teaching. Notice how they’re giving away great free content teaching you how to do something, and in the process they’re teaching you how to use their product. Genius!
So, being about implementation, here’s what I did.
I watched their video today:
http://www.siteproweb.com/lead/10-10-4
I see how this can fit into my business.
So, I sent this email (You should send this email too!) to 2 of my guys in the Philippines:
Guys,
I know I’ve been sending you a lot of stuff to do recently. I’d like
an update on how they’re going. Also, here’s another thing I want you to work on. You guys can split
this up however you want…my suggestion is that you both come up with
some of the questions/video topics, you both write them and edit each
others stuff, and get talk together about what the videos should be.1. go here: http://trafficgeyser.com/blog/?p=40
2. watch the video and read the pdf (they’re basically the same thing,
but each explains a little differently).
3. come up with the 20 video topics he talks about. I want these to
not only be topics, but I want the questions and the answers. I’ll
then film the videos with the scripts you send.
4. come up with the squeeze page video script. You can use the script
I sent you before (I think I sent it to [name ommitted]…it’s also available in
the video training module on ReplaceMyself.com). It’s a really good script for prepping a customer to buy or opt-in and it’s super easy to follow.
5. come up with the thank you page video script.
6. come up with the “buy my stuff” video script.I realize that what I’m asking you guys to do is very different than
what I’ve asked you to do in the past. I’m asking you to become
salesmen. I want you to create a sales process.
I have been doing this for years, so I’ll likely have ideas for you
along the way. When you guys give me stuff, I’ll give you feedback.Let me know what you think.
John
A couple of notes:
- Obviously I’ve trained these guys. They have a very good working internet marketing knowledge (this is why I created ReplaceMyself.com in the first place…to help train other people’s employees so they would be on the same level as mine are…mine are very smart!)
- These guys have a very good knowledge of the market we’re going to be doing the videos in (they’re the ones who build all the websites and write all the content for it).
- There are going to be a couple of iterations on the scripts where they send me the scripts, and I give them feedback…not a problem…I’m prepared for it.
- When we have the videos, I’ll have them put them on a site and have them build the squeeze page and thank you page. I’ll also have them use trafficgeyser (I’ve already taught them how…it’s module #5 in ReplaceMyself.com) to submit the videos to all the video sites.
Done. Implemented (or…at least…implementation started by someone else…not me!)
It took me more time to write this blog post than it did to implement this sales process. Basically all I have to do now is hone the video scripts and then film the videos. The rest is done for me.
If you’re not doing this, WHY NOT??????
Seriously…let me know in the comments why not!

Why not? Probably because I lack confidence. Do you have a cure for that? I am the worlds worst salesman. But I can program.
Sounds like you’ve sold yourself on being the world’s worst salesman, Dustin. If you can sell yourself on such a HUGE belief you can sell anything to anyone else.
For me it would be finding the right people to train. Granted, I haven’t gone through your info on how to do this yet. Maybe the answer is there? If not maybe you could elaborate? Thx!
Hi John
I’ve been using Traffic Geyser for a while. I had a few probs with some of their custom built lead pages. I do my own now or my team does.
Overall TG is a great system and as you know you can get number 1 listings in google really quick.

@Harry – Yes, how to find the right people is definitely covered in my material. It’s on the free call:

I’ve been using Traffic Geyser for over a year now and it works great for me. In fact, I’m just about to edit another video and I will upload it to their service this afternoon. Video distribution has proven to be very successful for my business and I owe it all to Traffic Geyser. The guys behind it completely over deliver every time, I’m a huge fan as you can probably tell. I’m in the midst of implementing their 10×10x4 strategy too, I watched this particular video a couple of weeks ago and it makes complete sense. I’d have never thought of doing this in a million years but these guys never fail to surprise me with simple but effective video marketing ideas.

John,
… excellent!
I’m looking forward to outsourcing with your great suggestions this ‘09 year… I can also see where one could even take on outside clients that are experts in their own fields, yet, haven’t a clue as to -how to create video presentations and packaging their deliveries thereof. The possibilities are outrageously endless!… must gather my thoughts to ‘focus’ now.
best,
-michael
this is kind of a weird question; but how would you suggest building a site or ring of sites so that you would have to outsource? I love the idea of outsourcing, both for passive income and to provide jobs in a way that works for everybody. Ever since I first heard you I’m looking at my little cluster of half baked sites and wondering where to take each one so they could lock in to what you’re talking aobut.
thanks
John,
We have implemented this and it is a great tactic and it works.
Thanks

I’ve just finished training a couple of guys to do link building for that I found through ReplaceMyself, so looks like my next task could be to make a start on this – great tip. I’ve used TG for a while now, but this looks like a great way to get even more out of it.
Great idea John, I’ve just started out sourcing to PH, and I have to say they really are great there. Super friendly, hardworking. They do have internet outages which cause some problems, but most of the time it’s excellent. I have 5 part-timers which I am cross training. Everyday, less stuff is on my plate, and more stuff is getting done.
I’ve been thinking about traffic geyser wondering when I would have time for it, now is the time to take a second look.
Hi John, thanks for the insights, I have yet to crack making vidoes but will definately give them a go.

I have been a top advisor in the financial services for 32 years. Also a Platinum member of Traffic Geyser for about three months. I have researched internet marketing yet to date have no practical experience or results as yet. I am attending a live event this weekend in San Diego with the founders of Traffic Geyser. They are helping me professionally create, edit and distribute seven videos to begin a new venture. I hope with this head start I can create a new income stream. I like your idea of getting outsourced help to do the “heavy lifting.” I am still a bit uncertain and skeptical that quality talent can be trained in an efficient way to effectively operate and run my internet marketing efforts while matching or even exceeding the skills of employees in the states. I bit of reassurance could go a long way for me.
Hi. I have been reading your blogs and its really really great! After supporting different client online for 4 years. My friends and I started a company here in the Philippines. We offer staffing and online support.I watched your video, and the stuff you said about Filipinos workers are really nice. You help us a lot in creating more opportunities. More power! =)
@JB
It’s really a matter of trying it and seeing what can be done. You should listen to the most recent audio I put on ReplaceMyself.com, where I talk about some of the things I have my guys do for me in detail. It really is amazing what you can have them do for you.
John
John,
I am going through John’s ReplaceMyself program as we speak (I started Aud. 30th implementing his training)and to be honest about it – well, I don’t know if there are enough adjectives in the English language to tell you how wonderful his program! When I have bought programs in the past from so-called interent gurus I always came away with the feeling I had been taken. You won’t get taken with John’s training. I am a highly detail oriented person to a fault. But apparently so is John and again, I CANNOT RECCOMEND A PRODUCT BETTER THAN WHAT JOHN AND DAN HAVE PUT TOGETHER! I finally see how making money on the internet can be a REALITY not just DREAM. Go for it and make it happen! I am!
Many people are just starting out in this business and don’t have the money to hire staff. If anyone out there would like to split hire someone and share the cost, contact me.

I’ve outsourced several “jobs” as of this date and I love it! BTW it has not been without it’s problems to be sure, but they were small and simply sit down, think for a minute and I was able to resolve them quickly!
I have seen the benefits of outsourcing and i’ve now started using TG as well in my business. To those who are having a hard time starting due to funds, let me just say, when you post a potential job, be aware that everyone IS negotiable in price! Trust me on this one, I hired 2-programmers for a job for $50 USD each for 2-weeks! Keep in mind, that while our economy is starting to rebound somewhat, the Asian economy is still depressed and people are more than willing to work for much less!
Best of luck everyone in 2010 with all that you do! Keep an eye out for Strategic2successful.com in the near future!
Cheers,
The Truth About Frogs
By Brian Tracy
Mark Twain once said that if the first thing you do each morning is to eat a live frog, you can go through the day with the satisfaction of knowing that that is probably the worse things that is going to happen to you all day long. Your "frog" is your biggest, most important task, the one you are most likely to procrastinate on if you don't do something about it.
Conquer the Hardest Task First
If you have to eat two frogs, eat the ugliest one first. This is another way of saying that if you have two important tasks before you, start with the biggest, hardest, and most important task first. Discipline yourself to begin immediately and then to persist until the task is complete before you go on to something else.
Don't Procrastinate
If you have to eat a live frog at all, it doesn't pay to sit and look at it for very long. The key to reaching high levels of performance and productivity is to develop the lifelong habit of tackling your major task first thing each morning. You must develop the routine of “eating your frog” before you do anything else and without taking too much time to think about it.
is it really possible to make money or is it all hype =/ i dont (i repeat) i dont want to waste money period. I want a program that helps and teaches me how to make money please feel free to email me with help
Guys, i´m unsure weather to get Senuke or traffic geyser.
traffic geyser supports only video marketing while senuke does both… thoughts and experience anybody ?
Henry Ford once said: Whether you think you can do something, or think you can't — in both cases you're probably right.
very goodEnter text right here!
I know where you are coming from…I was looking online for a way to make money but everyone would always leave something out of the information. Either you have to spend $2,000 to $5,000 upfront to get a really good system or you get in at a cheap price and wonder if the "guru" know what they were talking about.
I got the Replace Myself system and this is great stuff! No kidding…the advise John gives and sites he supplies are practical and can be put to good use. I lost $4,500 on Elance, Rent-a-coder, and Freelancer trying to find a coder to, not just start but understand my project. So, the language thing is pretty crucial.
For this to work well, you have to have your idea and know the parts of it (videos, articles, backlinks, landing pages, websites) that the coders and VAs can carry out.
Here's the site I'm promoting: http://dominatemodeling.com
It's mine and it's getting pretty good traffic after John's system, when it was getting nothing before.
AJ
Of course there's a cure…2 of them in fact…
1. Do it badly. Go out with the idea that you will make the crappiest video ever. Your second video will be the second crappiest (because you'll get better). Soon you'll be doing it like a pro. NOBODY every does ANYTHING well their first time. I'll bet you used to be not so good at programming once upon a time.
2. If you truly hate selling (I like marketing/hate selling) then don't do it. Why do something you don't like? Either partner with someone who needs a programmer or hire someone to do the selling for you.
Because I don't have time..to find people like this nor the money to pay you to find them for me.
arrgghhh..
Tracy
I just bought your product about 10 days ago. I sent a couple of support emails and received immediate and personal answers. Great customer service! I just hired my first two VAs and I already feel relieved. I spent about 4 hours on Skype this evening, but they are already on the job and I am feeling as if I might just get things done! I will hire another 4 by the end of the year…now to earn the money to pay for them. I have no doubt that I will finally see light and quit working 80 hours a week. Just do it! Also, I have Traffic Geyser…posted 5 videos and was on the first page of Google within a few hours. In a few cases, I have the number one position. Traffic Geyser, Mike Koenigs and Rocket Helstrom are terrific…quality training and products like yours…why did I wait so long to hire VAs??? Because I needed the training and support you offer. Great job, guys!
John,
I just joined replacemyself.com and I am interviewing for a new VA now.
Regarding the email I received today sending me to this post: The link to the video brings you to a page that indicates they are sold out. Therefore, we can not check out what they are doing to follow along with your implementation.
We can go on a list etc. However, any other resource to get where you want us to end up so we can move forward implementing?
Thank you
I like this. only problem is, I have a lot of frogs to eat!! haha. One day/frog at a time…
Hi John,
This is exactly the reason i bought your course. Plan to hire my first VA next week.
Thanks,
I have checked out the CVA site and it looks really professional, I am now encouraged to check out ReplaceMyself.com to see what that entails. Glad I found this.
