The System I Use On My Websites

I haven’t been this excited about a product coming out in a long time.

This is a special interview I did with Peter, the creator of a product to be released tomorrow.

What Peter is teaching is EXACTLY what I do on my websites in terms of the layout and design. It’s exactly what I have my GUYS do for me to make me money each month.

Where it’s different is in his promotion strategy, which is BETTER than what I’ve been doing.

Just listen to this:

(when you do, notice the sales process…it’s part of nanoblogging)
(here’s my guarantee)
After buying, listen to the bonus audio (it’s friggin’ amazing!)

Jill @ 3:29 pm

Sounds interesting. What will the price be?

eddy @ 4:11 pm

Hey John,

Sounds real great am super exited to see your email tomorrow
and discover this controverse system…

Have A great Day, Eddy

JohnB @ 4:16 pm

John,
Wanted to alert you about the “System I Use on My Websites” recording.

You came through loud and clear.
But the Peter recording was virtually inaudible.
John

Mike Paetzold @ 4:38 pm

Have tyo agree can hear you but your guest is not easy to hear.

Luke @ 5:13 pm

I actually already have Peter’s product, and it is EXCELLENT!

There is a high level of detail, which is what I prefer. I only hope that people will take it a piece at a time and not get overwhelmed by looking at the entire process from a high level overview. I can’t wait to implement this stuff.

Luke Newmeyer @ 5:22 pm

Definitely interested. Sounds like a good system and I look forward to hearing more.

Scott @ 5:33 pm

Sorry, can’t hear your recording…..only one person comes in.

Scott

Mark @ 5:37 pm

Hi John
Can you please provide the link to your posts where you talk about making sales.
Regards
Mark

Rosana Hart @ 5:40 pm

I heard both of them just fine, JOhn in my left ear and Peter in my right.

I bought the product this morning (sorry John, through another affiliate…) and it is game changing. It really suits my non-pushy style so I am quite excited about it.

And darn, wish I coulda had John’s bonus too!

nmormz2 @ 6:32 pm

You are right , people do not want to be sold, but still want to buy.

Luke @ 6:40 pm

@Rosana Hart

Same here… I wish I had known about John’s bonus before I ordered.

James @ 8:05 pm

sounds really interesting.. and I’m actually super keen to read up on it.. but… I can’t find a link to a sales page or anything :p

Dan @ 9:21 pm

From what I understand it sounds good. I assume an email will follow with all the details?

peter @ 10:10 pm

horrible recording.

Luke @ 10:16 pm

The recording sounded just fine to me. John was in one speaker and Peter in the other.

Lisa @ 10:52 pm

John: I rather suspect that “Peter” is the same Peter that worked on the Dream200 fiasco with Tommy Liantonio, in which many people lost tens of thousands of dollars. What a tragic ripoff that was. I therefore cannot support him, if it is the same guy.

Hoo Kang @ 10:53 pm

Where’s the product?

Sam Nicholson @ 10:57 pm

Hey John,
This sounds great, can’t wait to get it!
Hope it doesn’t cost too much, I’m short on arms and legs from buying everybody else’s stuff.
(…they charge an arm and leg for it…) :>)

Regards from Texas!

John @ 11:37 pm

FYI for those of you who couldn’t hear Peter, I mixed the 2 different stereo tracks down to one track so you should be able to hear it now.

Hi John,

the download link you provide for the mp3 does not work. it redirects to a 404 page not found error.

it’s url is:
http://www.jonasblog.com/2009/12/http%3A%2F%2Fmedia.jonasblog.com%2Fjonasblog-audios%2Fpeter-spaepen-for-blog.mp3

thanks for making the changes so I can listen to it later.

cheers

Nathern @ 9:47 am

John, is Lisa correct about Peter??

John @ 10:31 am

@Lisa – I just asked Peter about the Dream200 project. Yes, he was a part of it. He was their SEO advisor and they didn’t listen to what he told them to do, and it blew up in their faces.

I don’t know anything about that project, but I can tell you from personal experience that Peter is an upstanding guy. This product is for real, and is honestly one of the best systems I’ve ever seen.

John

Rondelle @ 12:10 pm

Lisa, can you expand on what that is?

I know Tommy, he lives a few towns over from me, and I’ve never heard of this project.

What was it and what went so wrong? Was it something recent?

Rondelle @ 12:17 pm

Lisa, can you expand on what that is?

I know Tommy, he lives a few towns over from me, and I’ve never heard of this project.

Jeremy @ 12:20 pm

When will we get the bonus if we purchased through your aff link?

Thanks!

Kent Young @ 6:41 pm

Hi John…

Sorry I already got it but have been looking for something to use your outsourcing stuff with and this is it. I will do the first few as Peter says but after that… yowsa!

Seth Ellsworth @ 7:26 pm

Thanks John for turning me on to this. I’ve burned through the manual already and am going through again to make notes and create a detailed task lists with videos for when I am able to outsource it… after I do it myself twice :)

Great stuff.

Seth

Lisa @ 10:57 pm

John:

Thanks for answering my question, and taking the time to ask Peter about the Dream200 fiasco.

Okay, so maybe I would trust Peter with this new Nanoblogging product…. it certainly seems good. But I would hesitate to fork over greater funds than that in the future without first investigating more.

Rondelle: A few towns over… in New York or Long Island area? I would be very careful around Tommy. He talks a great talk, like an old car salesman on steroids, but underneath is a deep neurosis.

He keeps a low profile, because he has tens of thousands of SPAM sites. Here is an old Business Week article about him:
http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/03_28/c3841028_mz003.htm

Several people lost their life savings in Dream200. One guy went bankrupt. Others quit their jobs to join, and then lost 10 or $20,000 or more. Some did not lose that much because they saw the Tommy train wreck coming sooner.

But back to the subject of this thread… Thanks again John, for your extra work.

Good luck to Peter on this launch, and congratulations on the charitable aspect of it. Too few gurus ever mention charity work these days. Especially at Christmas, it is noticeably absent from most “gurus’” efforts.

Chris Thompson @ 7:33 am

Hey John and others … I bought this thing but when I completed the transaction in Clickbank I got pushed to a squeeze page, the same squeeze page that’s at the root of his domain. No download … weird.

John, I listened to the 37 minute bonus audio you recorded. I thought it made perfect sense. I think I get the gist of what Peter is suggesting but I’m looking forward to reading the manual and outsourcing this stuff after first understanding the process myself.

Peter @ 9:01 am

@Chris Thompson

Send an email to peter [at] nanobloggers.com when you have trouble logging in. Some browsers act (not so) funny with the membership software we’re using and put you in a loop. I’m here to help!

Chris Thompson @ 2:55 pm

@peter … Fixed! Peter, thanks so much. I’m done reading the manual now that you’ve hooked me up with a password and I’m impressed by the quality and the organization. Your writing is really easy to follow and I can already think of 2 obvious markets where this applies to stuff I sell TODAY. Wow.

Lee @ 10:31 pm

John-

What tools will I have to buy to make this work?

12/19/2009

Alan @ 9:55 pm

Can you use artisteer instead of the Theme wordpress he mentioned in the book this will save me some money. Thanks

12/20/2009

Chris Thompson @ 12:06 pm

@Alan and @ Lee:

You will need Wordpress, and Peter is recommending the Thesis theme, costs like $164 (come on that is NOTHING in the grand scheme of your business) … but surely you could take another basic theme and implement the same thing yourself, but honestly it’s always better to buy something that you can have NOW without messing around building it yourself. Just get comfortable buying stuff.

Peter’s method also makes some use of social bookmarking, but not super heavy use … and he suggests SocialBot by Incansoft for this. It’s like $20 or so. I have ArticleBot by the same company .. they make good software.

12/21/2009

Dick @ 11:52 pm

Out of respect for John Jonas I’ve given these audios several listens. Brilliant minds at work obviously. What troubles me about this concept (and PLEASE correct me if I’ve got it wrong) but isn’t “nano” or for that matter “anti-blogging” at the very core of why the F.T.C. is all over this issue? I’d love to be wrong about this but…

Fake blogs fake advice, fake recommendations, fake testimonials, fake marketing, fake relationships, fake ’social’ media, fake “it worked for me”, fake ‘reviews’ crawling all over the internet in an effort to fake out the unsuspecting truth seeker into sending REAL money. There’s just something about this concept of manipulating the reader into believing he’s receiving truthful and legitimate information when in fact it’s being turned out by Philippine info-sweat shop workers, marked up outrageously and pawned off as real insight. What’s the difference between this and fake Gucci’s made in a prison in China (other than the labor in this effort has a ‘choice’.

I’d appreciate your insights as to where I’ve got the wrong idea. If I can see the truth, you’ve made a sale.

Dick

12/22/2009

Frank @ 3:40 am

“Dick:isn’t “nano” or for that matter “anti-blogging” at the very core of why the F.T.C. is all over this issue? I’d love to be wrong about this but…”

Where are you folks getting that this is fake, or anti-blogging? You’re not making anything up using this system, you’re actually posting about real events, news, information, and other things that are actually happening…..you know, the things real bloggers do?

If I create a blog about Star Wars, and blog about things Star Wars related, that’s not fake. And when others post comments on that blog, that isn’t fake either. And if I have a call to action that sells a replica lightsaber on my Star Wars blog, that isn’t fake either.

What the ftc primarily has a problem with is bogus offers, bogus testimonials, and bogus, hidden continuity offers that no one can get out of. You think they’re going to hunt you down and slap the cuffs on you because of your little blog about kitty cats that makes a couple hundred bucks a month selling cat furniture?

Frank @ 3:53 am

“What’s the difference between this and fake Gucci’s made in a prison in China (other than the labor in this effort has a ‘choice’.”

You mean besides the trademark issues? You’re not serious, are you? Comparing digital information to a watch? Information isn’t fake just because someone from the Philippines posts it. If someone from China is taking care of my basketball blog, is a post reporting the score from last night’s game fake because a Chinese guy posted it? Is a newspaper fake because the newspaper owner isn’t the one writing the stories? Is your local news fake because they get their stories from the Associated Press?

If you are seriously asking this question, this method definitely isn’t for you. I suspect fry cook might be pushing it as well.

Chris Thompson @ 8:07 am

@Dick

You’ve got some kind of warped view of what Peter is promoting in his product.

1) He never suggests faking a review
2) He never suggests posting crap
3) He certainly never suggests a fake testimonial

So with that said, what’s the problem?

If you use the method as explained, then you have the following:

- A blog with content laser-targeted to your audience
- An action message that they can’t miss
- An offer for something (totally flexible)
- A novel way to bring traffic to your site that forum owners and blog owners will appreciate, because it gives THEM links.

It’s amazing how twisted things can get, utterly amazing.

Dick @ 9:33 am

Frank and Chris,

This is the sort of clarification I needed so thanks for your input. My initial stumbling block started with the concept of copying the creative effort of others by snatching blog posts and repackaging them to somehow provide ‘laser-targeting’ information to the reader.

Back in college that was called plagiarism at the minimum and continues to provide censure for university students and even newspaper columnists or speech writers. I guess because the internet is so full of this sort of ‘no value added’ content that makes it ok.

Knowing how to create the traffic is probably the only thing stopping the original and true blogger/ creator of the information from getting their message to the reader in the first place.

At any rate, I see the issues more clearly now and appreciate your ideas and dialogue.

Dick

John @ 1:14 pm

Thanks Frank, Brent, and Chris for your help clarifying the misconceptions people have. It’s amazing how stuff gets misunderstood and skewed so easily.

@Dick: yes, rewriting someone elses work was called “plagiarism” in college. That’s academia. There’s a reason people work in Academia.

Peter does not suggest you create “no value added” content. He suggests you post information and comment on it and add value to it and link to the original post. People who DIDN’T see the original information will find your post, and will be helpful to them for both the original info, and for your comments on it.

This is how the internet works.
It’s how all news aggregation sites work. It’s how Reuters works (they write stuff and then hundreds of other people re-publish it).

John

12/23/2009

Chris Thompson @ 2:17 pm

Let me add one more proof point here. Go sign up for Joseph Mercola’s website (Mercola.com)

he sends out a daily newsletter and the stories are all pages on his site. Each story is generally some sort of snipped of health-news where Mercola (or more likely his staffers) have COMMENTED on someone else’s work.

He often posts a couple of paragraphs from someone else’s work and then puts “Dr. Mercola’s Comments” under it. He provides a LINK back to the other person’s work, which makes it something the original author will appreciate. He adds value.

Mercola is making a LOT of money.

There is absolutely nothing in Peter’s system that involves lying to people or stealing content from people. Nothing.

12/24/2009

Chris Thompson @ 9:16 am

SocialBot is on sale right now over at Incansoft.com … this is one of the recommended software products for Nanobloggers.

Less than 8 bucks with the coupon code SANTA (all upper case)

Tom @ 1:03 pm

Hey John,

Thanks for this interview. Lots of value in there.

You mention Peter’s promotion strategy is better than what you’ve been doing.

Do you plan to update your outsourcing/training program consequently?

Tom

1/3/2010

Rondelle @ 12:28 am

@Lisa

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw now that you responded to me.

Yes, I live 2 towns over from Tommy on Long Island and I have spoken to him a few times on the phone last year about projects. He certainly did come across as salesy, like a character out of Glengarry Glenross. Always Be Closing!

We never did work together on anything and I appreciate the warning b/c we are still in email contact from time to time.

1/8/2010

Dan @ 3:02 pm

I dont understand what people have against making at least a 6-10 page, simple site. Having a half dozen blogs for linking purposes is alright, but keep those blogs decent quality.

2/3/2010

Donald @ 8:43 pm

I just want to chip in with regards to Tommy Liantonio and D200. I was actually in D200 for the entire time that it existed and it's quite unfair if not insincere to say that people lost $10000 to $20000. The most anyone could have "spent" is $5500. By the way I say "spent" ( in quotes ) because it's is really misleading to say "lost" as Lisa puts it. The deal was that we were paying a given amount every month to have a massive number of adsense sites built and this was delivered as promised. Peter was part of D200 ( one of 4 founding partners Peter, Don, Tommy and Jeff) also and though I never dealt with him directly, I was on all the D200 calls he was in and he sounded like a nice guy to me.

D200 was about building adsense sites by the millions. Don , one of the partners, interviewed everyone before they could join so they knew upfront this was blackhat. D200 wasn't advertised either, everyone knew each other because we were all into cloaking prior to D200. There was a D200 forum and all business was out in the open.

When Tommy left he gave everyone in the group the software he built and then gave everyone in the group free links for however long they wanted them. I know many of the former D200 members continue to talk with Tommy to this day. I know this because we were all together for over two years on another project.

D200 guys built millions of adsense sites – people paid these 4 guys to build sites, and nobody was in the dark about that.

Donald

Bev @ 11:37 pm

I signed up for Nanobloggers after hearing your podcast with Peter, John. I am concerned that when I went to the Nanobloggers blog and forum there has been no entries since Dec 27 (now Feb 18) and Peter has promised daily podcasts to answer members concerns and there is no trace of those either. As a newbie and non tech person there is no way I could attempt this style of marketing without some assistance. I am interested to hear of other new members of Nanobloggers.

3/2/2010

Lisa @ 12:07 am

I agree with Bev. There have been no new posts recently. Also it is not available to order until version 2.0 is ready? I am trying to find out when that will be. I would like to order it from you John, but I am not sure when it might be available.

3/3/2010

Peter @ 12:15 am

@Bev @Lisa

As I said to you in a personal email. We have moved from using the blog to using the forum. As of today (March 2nd.) there are over 1100 messages, questions and answers there. The podcasts were not needed as a few very knowledgeable nanoblogger members jumped in and helped out.

What you're saying about the forum not having any activity since December is untrue.

I will start working on NB 2.0 after NanoSense is finished and delivered to my members.

3/8/2010

Patriot12 @ 8:45 pm

Hey Peter,

Is it possible for you to be a bit more specific on your NB 2.0 time line (even a general time frame like "April 2010)?

Also on your sales page http://nanobloggers.com/finale/ it says…

* n 2 weeks you’ll receive my blueprint for outsourcing (in co-op with John Jonas)
* In 4 weeks you’ll receive a full case study of a working, real life nanobloggers project.
* Access to a dedicated nanobloggers news blog (just for you, my “in crowd”), where I will be releasing updates to nanobloggers, marketing tips and tricks and insights on new work flows.

Were those things all released to NB 1.0 owners and will NB 1.0 owners get NB 2.0 for free of at a discount?

And what is NanoSense all about?

Thanks,

Patriot 12

7/8/2010

Jim @ 1:17 am

"Were those things all released to NB 1.0 owners "

Nope. Basically it was a lie, pretty much like I'm assuming the rest of his course.

8/22/2010

Ronin @ 7:51 am

Do you have NB 1.0 ?

If so , did you apply and take action ?

Do you even know what you are talking about ?

Not a clue huh ?

That is what I thought.
